Taizo is intended as an expandable dictionary and learning software for the Japanese language. At its core it provides an interface to the freely available multilingual Japanese dictionary file, JMdict.

 

When will there be a release version?

Not any time soon. Development has just started and deals with basic features at this point.

 

There are some source files in taizo’s subversion repository. What are these?

Just a quick hack for development purposes. So far development concentrates on importing the JMdict dictionary file. This observes the outcome to some extend.
